What is Week of Welcome?
Week of Welcome (WOW) is organized by UASUevents. WOW is a fun-filled week of events designed to bring the UAlberta community together to invite students to our campus. From live outdoor music on MainStage in Quad to a free daily pancake breakfast 🥞, evening events, a clubs fair, games, prizes, and more, there is loads of activity and free goodies for everyone! Bonous if you caught me tabling with stickers 🙂
When is it happening? 📅
This year, WOW takes place during the first week of school. It’s running from September 3rd-7th, 2024 but clubs fair happens just a little earlier.

How can I get involved?
Volunteer opportunities for next year are coming out! WOW volunteer applications open in October, and general volunteer applications open in February. Keep an eye on UASUevents’ social media for announcements! You can also explore student clubs on BearsDen to check out some of the clubs you might’ve missed.
